“Care-A-Ton” Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway

On Friday, April. 27, Associated Advertising celebrated Arbor Day with the “Care-A-Ton" Free Tree Giveaway. Tree lovers of all flavors lined up starting at 6 a.m. to get their trees. Many towed young children and encouraged them to "care" about the environment. Many others were planting trees for the first time. All three area network TV affiliates covered the event, as did radio partner KFDI. After only four frenetic and fun hours, all the maples and oaks had been handed to new owners, and Associated employees returned to work wearing broad smiles and with dirt under their nails.
